After done with Home page and History page, I had updated the Objective, Vision & Mission, and Contact Us Page. Here we go!!!

         I am so busy for this week since this Saturday is the last day for me to manage the MVFRA website. Wow, I did'nt believe it that I will finish my internship on the next Friday, 16/12/2011. Last week, Captain had asked me to design the new MVFRA website banner. Captain want me to design the new banner by using the checker plate background. So, since the last week until yesterday, I had created 15 design of new MVFRA banner. Then, I had emailed all the designs to Captain and asked him to choose the suitable one. Finally, Captain had choose the no. 13 banner and asked me to change the logo, the type of font, and adding some flashing effects.

           On the last Monday, we all had a meeting with Captain. Captain had asked me to change the existing page of History, Objective, Vision & Mission, and Contact Us. Since I had make a change with the Contact Us page, Captain said the contact number and the icon is not very suitable, so I need to change it back. But the location map is great for him. Other than that, Captain had asked me to add the QR code on the Home page. I had using the QR code generator to make it.
 By having this code, visitors can scan this code to know the information of MVFRA.

New History Page

            During the meeting too, Captain want if possible to put the MVFRA facebook page at the Home page. By looking at JKJR website as reference I had successfully added the facebook page on MVFRA website by using Facebook Social Plugins. Visitors can view MVFRA facebook and like MVFRA association through this plugins.                                                

New Home page

            Yesterday, Captain had asked me to publish many videos to the MVFRA website. Last week, MVFRA team went to Segamat, Johor for the Flood Relief Operation, and for the last month they had went to Thailand for the same mission, to give the human aid for the people at there. Looks like the flood season this year become worst. The flood in Johor also bad and MVFRA team had went to there for four days. Besides Segamat, they also give the relief to the community at Kg. Peta, Endau-Rompin which is an Orang Asli village.
           Other than flood videos, Captain had also asked me to publish the video of Kitten Rescue at Wangsa Maju that had been done by MVFRA team last week. While the other videos is Left. Cody & Sc. Left. Teresa Birthday, and the last video is Alunan Nusantara which is a MVFRA Recycle Project. By using a recycle items, they had created a replica of the ship and presented it to the public at Leisure Mall, Cheras.
          Since Captain had uploaded all this videos in MVFRA Channel at YouTube, I just need to make a link from the MVFRA website to this channel. I had put all the links at the MVFRA Home Page and divide the videos according to category. For the flood videos I had put under Local Disaster Videos, the kitten rescue under Animal Rescue Videos, members birthday and MVFRA team project under Members News Videos.

         Besides that, I had added a new element into the MVFRA Website which is a a Google Search Box. By having this element, visitor can search anything through MVFRA website without leaving the page. After done added the videos and the Google Search Box, I had published all this into MVFRA website. An error occured after I added the videos but finally I got managed it. Pheww....
         This is the task that I had done very fast since Captain want to see the website on evening. Luckily, I am done. If all of u want to watch all these videos, just visit MVFRA website okay. TQ..

Today, I had updated the Contact Us page. Since the old page only display the contact no. of MVFRA members, I had added the address, email, office hours and the location map of MVFRA.

                                                                            For the contact no. of MVFRA members, I had listed by using smart art in Microsoft PowerPoint and then save it as a picture. While for the address, tel. & fax no., office hours, and e-mail, I had put together with the icons. It is also easy for visitor to understand it.
         Lastly is the location map. I had using Google Map Generator to put the MVFRA location map into this website. By using map generator, we just need to insert the address and then it will generate the HTML code. Sounds like easy right?? But, I had took almost 1 hour just to insert the code into Dreamweaver. That's because the code error happen each time I want to paste the code.
        But, finally I had make it after trying many times. After that, I had published it into the MVFRA website by using FileZilla. Done!!  

                Today, I had published all page that I had done by using FileZilla. This software is new for me because I never use this software before this. So, it is little complicated for me when using it for the first time. However, I had asked Kat on how to use it, and after that I can able to manage it. By the way, it took a long time since I need to transfer all the page from Local Site to Root Site, included with each picture!! I guess there are almost 50 pictures in all this page.
                After that, Captain had asked me to find as many rescue association website to be a membership with MVFRA. Many work need to be done by today.... I will write more after this ya, need to go back with my work.. Be hardworking, and don't lazy ya..=)




This is not me, but the situation is just like me right now..hu3...

                Last week, I got a new task given by Captain. I need to create two new page for the MVFRA website. The first page is a list contact of highways and the second page is a list contact of transit transportation. Through this page, visitor can call all this number whether in emergency or if they had any inquiry. So, I had started on searched all of this contact no. For example, the no. of PLUS, KESAS, BESRAYA, ELITE and  GCE highways. For the transit transportation page, I had put the contact no. of KTM Komuter, Express Rail Link (ERL), MY RAPID and TAXI SERVICES.
               After finished make both of this page, I had put the link for it under the index page. Now, I just need to adjust this page before publish it.
             Besides that, I had finished on making the previous page, which is Sponsors Page and Birthday Visit Page. So, this is the page..=)
